Your Health Data

Everything you log in Refit - food, water, mood, sleep, weight, activity - stays on your device. We don't upload it anywhere. It lives in your phone's secure localStorage and is never sent to our servers.

You can export your data as JSON anytime, delete it completely, or reset the app. No account, no login, no account deletion requests needed.

Analytics & Site Usage

The Refit app contains zero analytics and zero telemetry. No behavior tracking, no event pings, no device fingerprinting, no session IDs. Nothing in the app sends data anywhere unless you explicitly trigger it (e.g. using Google Drive sync or exporting a JSON backup).

The marketing site (userefit.com) uses Vercel Analytics for aggregate page-view counts with no cookies and no personal data — this only runs on the website, not inside the app.

On the app stores, Google Play and Apple provide aggregate install and crash counts to us — the same anonymous statistics every app gets. We cannot see individual users or their behavior.

Email Addresses

If you sign up for the waitlist or opt-in for updates on the marketing site, we store your email. We'll only use it to notify you about new Refit features. We never sell or share email addresses.

AI Features (Coming Soon)

We're exploring AI-powered insights: personalized recommendations, coaching, and analysis. Any AI feature will be:

• Fully opt-in (off by default)
• Only use data you explicitly choose to share
• Never store your data on our servers long-term
• Covered by a separate privacy agreement when launched

Your Rights

You have complete control:

• Access: All your data is stored locally. You can view and export it anytime.
• Export: Download a JSON backup of everything in Settings → Data Management.
• Delete: Wipe all data instantly. No recovery, no backups kept.
• No Account: Refit doesn't require a login. You own your data from day one.
